Paslode New Zealand was formerly known as Jambro Limited, which was a manufacturer of Collated Staples and Distributor of Collated Nails.  Jambro Limited was a privately owned business and was sold to Illinois Tool Works Inc in December 1989.  The Paslode New Zealand you know and understand today is a division of ITW New Zealand Limited.  ITW Paslode was founded in 1935 by industrialist J.W. Leslie. In 1959, the company introduced a pneumatic light-duty upholstery tacker tool and thereafter, ITW Paslode produced the first commercially accepted framing nailer.
